Even if the rear ZF sprocket is a dual material one, the weight difference is not that noticeable.
To my way of thinking it's better to pay more and do less chain adjustments. I use this chain on 3 of my bikes without problems and since i installed it from new bikes (or in one case relatively new) there was no need to replace sprockets. It's a riveted link which i personally would stick with. Price varies widely from dealer to dealer.Reviving an old thread here…
What’s the best chain and sprockets combination? Is more expensive better? Can you size down the chain to save weight? Is a ‘silent’ front sprocket really any quieter? Is an aluminium rear sprocket being lighter any benefit?
