Turned out great. The sound is also amazeballs
Hi, the exhaust looks great on your Svartpilen. Do you have a technical drawing or sizes of the bracket/mount you made yourself?

Sorry, not really. I just used some cardboard to find the right fit, then I cut up the metal and pounded it. Pretty basic.

Any news about aftermarket slipons?

Ixil / ixrace (the one I have) is very close at least. I’ve seen them post it on their instagram. Probably in production now.

Today I received a spare stock muffler and took a closer look at the inner-pipes.
The endmanifold and the perforated tube are continuous without any interruption and without any addional db-killing deflection.
It seems the only interruption (db-killing addition) is the additional smaller oval endpipe that sticks about 20cm into the muffler.

Here some pics.

I gave it a thought when I got my bike. Swapping out the pipe for a new one with a larger diameter might be possible ?

I'm not sure, but maybe you don't even need to add a pipe with a larger diameter; maybe you just need to remove the additional smaller oval endpipe to "tweak" the stock muffler.

Here two additional pics from the inside of the stock muffler.

Yes, it seems to be possible to remove the additional smaller oval endpipe completely; but no idea how loud it would be.
Alternatively you could add some cutouts between the inner and outer oval pipe; maybe the better idea to start with as you could "control" how loud it actually is.

That’s the longest db-killer I have ever seen 😂

Ixil now has a mount for the 801 so I ordered the new factory mount from Ixil today. €39 including shipping. That means I can toss away my home made mount.

And are you happy with the mount you ordered? Did you order by sending a request? (because I can't find the single product).
I emailed them, then payed by PayPal. I haven’t had time to swap to the new mount yet, I’ll post pics when I’ve done it, hopefully this upcoming week. The exhaust will be a little twisted compared to my home made mount.

The angle is a little different than with my home made mount and the pipe is a little “stressed” in this position but no worries overall. Easy install.
