Getting ahead of myself here, but the Duke 790 2023/2024 slip-ons should fit the upcoming 801. Since tail tidy+high slipon= melted rear indicators, that means a low or short slip-on is the safest way to go.

I checked and the Duke 790 exhausts WON’T fit the 801.

I’ve made a list of short slip-ons.

-Ugly and shipping from UK

Does not specify the year

I’ll add to the list if you have more tips.

There’s also a list of more options here, however, not all of them are for the 2023/2024 frame and some are “melting high”.

From the list above:
Austin racing - only high exhausts
Scorpion - Only high exhausts
Spark -double, semi high

Update: I’ve been in contact with three different exhaust manufacturers and none of them have any active time plan to release a system for the 801. Remus has one on the Husky site but can’t answer if they will make a non legal version. Same goes for Leovince.

In communication with Dominator exhausts we also concluded that the Duke 790 slip on won’t fit the 801 since the attachment point is different.

The point I wanted to make was that
- when you need to do tail tidy on day one
- you can simply install different plug + play signals
- and easily wait for the right pipe to get released in the upcoming months

If they manage to sell enough 801s, there might be a market for a stacked twin end can with a flat track style number board.

Well that wasn’t even close. 😂
Will have to make a new mount for it.

It looks like IXiL decided to add a hole in the center of the mesh to allow for emisions testing.

And good that the mount is screw on, make it easier for you to fab up an upgraded one 😎

Yes, that’s why I bought this one. The models with welded mounts would make it very hard to make a new mount.

There are two db-killers on this system. The first one is inside the middle pipe and it’s welded. Then there’s the pleasure toy looking db-killer inside the slipon, it was easy to pull out. It’s supposedly legal with both in but it doesn’t come with the certification for EU.

From only the length I would expect a shift from top end to mid range, maybe like 1 or 2 horsies.

(Personally have only tested 790 with original pipe 🙉🙉🙉)

It’s loud but it’s not stupid loud. Louder than the 401 with LV10, that’s for sure.

That sounds mean as f###, I like it a lot.
Some pipes are disproportionately too loud for the size of the bike, like straight pipes on a 125cc but yours sounds perfect. Hope you have a good set of ear plugs!!!
