There she is.... Brand new !

Always a very enjoyable ride.... The Remus exhaust and heating grips were not in stock, gonna have to wait but i am beginning to think the Remus was not necessary... There's already a very nice sound coming from that beauty...

Two things that struck me on the down side though, i've already read it but didn't feel it at first test: that thing is HOT, like really really hot, and maybe it's nice during the winter but right now with high temperatures, it's not very enjoyable... The other thing is the toggle switch for the blinkers positioned too far right, i don't like it that far or maybe am gonna get used to it...

The tires were brand new so the first ride was made very carefully... But damn she has potential !

If you think this is hot don’t try a Ducati Scrambler. The Husky is very cool by comparison. I live in Andalusia in southern Spain so know about heat😉 Welcome to the 801 club Btw

Congratulations on your new bike man!

Yes, I totally agree on the blinker switcher, it's too far to the right for me too, but you end up getting used to it.
As for the heat, I come from a Brixton Crossfire 500 and can say, as long as you're moving, it's not THAT noticeable. Ride slow and you'll definitely notice it a bit, but I'd consider it to be normal.

I'm going to switch grips at some point, the stock grip on the left side has a cm of extra width on the inside that makes that reach to the signal much farther than necessary.

At first the distance to the indicator switch was a bit irritating, but after a few rides I got used to it.

Yeah the switch is way off. Makes for clunky city riding, even after 4 000 km I'm not really used to it. Thinking of 3D printing something that is offset to the left to make it easier.

I also thought of that, but then you wouldn't be able to press it to cancel the blinkers. Still you kind of get used to it, but I'd like them to fix it even if it was with an accesory.

Piano fingers but cant play the piano, maybe that explains it?

Joking aside, I cant really use the clutch at the same time as I'm operating the indicator switch.

Anyone know which Givi tanklock ring we need for these bikes? The '19 ktm 790 duke looks like it uses 8 bolts around the filler cap so that isn't it.

I said the exact same thing about the indicator toggle. Check the switch gear assy is not rotated too far "towards you".......I changed it to the cruise control switch gear on my first service and now I can reach it no problem on the new assy........or maybe we just have small thumbs.

Apart from that ☝️ anatomical anomaly 🤣, try rotating the blinker unit. There is a hex underneath the uni. If you loosen it, you can rotate the unit and so you can put the blinker where they feel more comfortable. I did this right away while adjusting the angle of the levers and handlebar and I have no issues at all with the location of the blinkers.

If this works, you are now my new hero. I'll try tomorrow or the day after.

I tried that but sadly my viking hands still could not reach it properly.
