801 owners club

I never noticed the "issue" you discribed; not with the Galfer, not with the Brembo; and also not with the other bikes.
But what is "slow speed" to you, when you noticed it?
My bike will be at the dealer tomorrow and I will get another KTM or Husqvarna for a day; I'll keep an eye on it.
Let’s say under 10-15km/h. It hasn’t irritated me that much, it just gets a little choppy when stopping at the red lights.

Great day “at work”. Sadly the freaking CarPlay screen messed up the video.

Just back from the dealer with a 790 Adventure; again I did not notice the problem with the brake; but maybe it's just me; and I'm not as sensitive as you Swedish guys... 😁

I’m not that technical but if the mechanic says it’s OK and (forgive me for this) Gemini describes the feeling pretty much exactly like my experience, then that good enough for me.

Nice! I would like to have something like that as well. I have used the on board “navigation” a few times. Works OK most of the time but can’t beat a real GPS map.
Yeah the onboard navigation is ok. I agree with you. I do wish the font were bigger. I haven't played with favorites yet if that would change anything.

I’m using a CarPlay screen now. Love it, works great.

Hi all,

Receiving mine on wednesday ! I made the big mistake of testing it while my 401 was serviced !
Couldn't take my mind of it after that ! Absolutely blown and in love with the bike, the handling, the power and the look !
I have a little trip coming right away with this beasty beauty ! Thanks to members of the forum for providing great infos about luggage management !

Now i have two days to decide if i keep my 401 or not coz i never ever intented to sell it in the first place... I love the small bike that it is, that does wonders by its lightness in crowded circulation ! And also the look of it and well... everything ! The 801 seems very agile but still less than the 401? And maybe too big or too powerful for overcrowded cities !? Or is it just because i am not used to it yet ? I have to admit i am little impressed and nervous about that all amount of power !

Money and space definitely are a consideration, but still people keep saying having two bikes is a great thing, and that owning two different bikes is even better !
Maybe the 401 and 801 are both too similar for that ? I would gladly use the 401 for the city and the 801 for long trips !

Question is, will i still want to ride the little one after having a taste of the grown up's sh... !?

I swapped in my 401 for the 801. I haven’t missed the 401 for a single day. The 801 is better in all aspects. I mostly use my 801 for city commuting.

I’m getting tired of waiting for the carbon footrests. Shouldn’t I be able to just buy the black standard Vitpilen 801 parts?

Was browsing for spare parts and found something interesting. Still no word about the “style” edition.
