The QS unit is on the right side of the gearbox - just behind and below the oil level window. There will be a lead running up into the frame. Chase that lead until you come to a plug and disconnect. I don't know if the rev limiter gets adjusted, but the shift light is set to a lower figure for the designated break-in period. Once that distance is on the clock it can be adjusted by the rider to a higher setting.
