I moved to the South & sold most of my bikes up in Washington State… still a couple still on consignment waiting to close. Keeping the Vit 701, DR 650 Suzuki & 2003 RC51 Track bike & Picking up the Norden very soon after Barber Track Day this weekend.

I have noticed the same thing. There is a “reprogramping of the throttle position sensor that is in my plans. I just moved from Washington State to Louisiana & Mississippi. I will get it done after my track day at Barber in Alabama on May 7th & 8th. I will post up later.

That’s going to be a big improvement on your bottom rpm torque w/o needing a PC5. Rottweiler sells bolts (Ti or Stainless steel) to replace the O2 sensor at the correct length as to not intrude with exhaust pulses. Looking forward to hearing back from you regarding your impressions.

I replace every OEM chain with that DID model chain.

Just meant to imply the needless heat resulting from emissions controls forcing lean AFM ratios can be corrected. So why not correct the AFM ratios throughout the rev range?

Haha, that bike is for track only. So if I get caught with that one on the road then I’ll have other issues to answer.

In most of the USA, emissions checks are mostly only random and visual. If an official notices an after-market non OEM exhaust end-pipe (& they heard excessive Loudness), then a citation could take place. Engine modifications on my bike make use of the OEM end-pipe/muffler.

Mushroom tipped plugs will work. & stay with the 160 OEM. Husqvqrna would have used a 180 if it had worked worked better...
