Dual disk

So I decided to finish the forks and install them so I can see if the new brakes lines will fit and so I can install the new brembo master cylinder.. didn’t get to the lines yet but the calipers are there. Will probably still be a couple weeks until I get the rims back

Fender is mounted and ready to ride, unfortunately our road is a mud pit currently. The brakes seem to grab really good. Only thing left is to test ride and get some shorter lower brake lines.

I think the next step, maybe next winter will be to get ahold of a 790 adventure front hub and lace it to the stock rim to make a spoked dual disk front end just because.

Looking at the pix and not remembering the thread specifics, it took me a minute to see what the difference was - there was something that made the impact of the bike be different, but I couldn't figure it out at first, besides the white paint on the underfairing.

So I had to re-read the posts . . . yes, the white wheels.

I think it looks fantastic. Beautiful.

I was going to go in the opposite direction and paint the underfairing and the passenger seat cover blue. I think the impact would look very different from yours, but I love that blue color and wanted more.

I remember the Honda Interceptors and their white bodywork. Your bike has a similar impact. Again, very nicely done.

Big difference in the dual vs the single? Can you estimate the weight gain from the change? Just curious.
