I tried a few times to wrap the front wind "screen" but used the 3M 1080 wrap and that did not want to conform to the indentations even with quite a bit of heat. I think I'll either paint it or order the new 2080 vinyl.

Picking my bike up next week, I want to put a phone mount on for Nav as I use an app with twisty routes which I like to find back roads, was thinking about using the handlebar mount bolts to mount a bracket, this would involve removing the handlebar brace thing which I don't like anyway. Do people think this would weaken it, my thoughts are its just for show anyway. What do you think, Greetings anyway, looking forward to getting the bike.

You could also use a mirror-mount and attach it to the brace.

I wouldn’t use my phone on the bars. That’s an iPhone killer for sure. A friend of mine has had to burry three iPhones because the camera dies, it can’t handle the shakes. I got a CarPlay display with touch display, works really really well, highly recommend it, they are not expensive.

Those are Husky lies. I ordered the heal guards in September and they are due for September. Can’t trust those dates. They have keps pushing the dates forward.

(Last two parts are for the Vit)
 
Also waiting for heated grips, cruise control, clamps and a few other items.

Any word on heel guards and skid plate in black from vitpilen 801?
 
Damn, I'm also waiting for my heated grips, clamps, bar-end mirrors, tankbag and carbon flyscreen. It would appears it won't be coming anytime soon
