801 owners club

I'm picking up my 801 in a few weeks and ordered the cruise package along with the rear peg delete. Just wondering if anyone can confirm if the North American model comes with easy shift. I'm getting conflicting info for the dealer and the website

Here in Europe/Germany easy shift is integrated as a standard feature in the 2024 Svartpilen 801.
2025 (Svartpilen 801 and Vitpilen 801) easy shift is optional.

It is a ~$350 upgrade. Total bullshit, the hardware is already on your bike, they just added a paywall for it. Same for cruise control and the dynamic pack.

Did they lower the price on the 2025 models? The 2025 Vitpilen is a lot cheaper than the 2024 Svartpilen here.

Yeah that's what I figured. The cruise does require new hard buttons at least.

Here in Germany listprice of a 2024 Svartpilen was EUR 11.400,-
Now a new 2024 Svartpilen with full warranty (& easy shift) starts at EUR 8.700,-.
Listprice of a 2025 Vitpilen is now EUR 11.000,-. but the the actual retail price starts at EUR 9.500,-.

That’s great prices! I payed €12300 for my Svart 801. According to the Husky website they removed the quick shifter for both the Vit&Svart 801 2025.

In Canada it went down $350 to $11649
So they basically ”removed” the quick shifter and lowered the price the equivalent amount. I never use the quick shifter but it’s strange to remove it from one year to the next.

That's about $14000 CAD

Pretty much. I had the quick shifter on my Svart 701 and got pretty used to it. Sucks that it's not a standard item anymore

Maybe to lower the starting prices; the Svartpilen doesn't sell well (KTM-problems, quality-/camshaft-issues, polarizing design, ...)

I used to use the quick shifter on the 401 all the time but with the 801, the power is so high I’ve felt no need to use the quick shifter. I use it sometimes but it’s kinda pointless.

Same here; on most of my day trips (on small, sometimes quite bumpy backroads) I don't use it.

It’s a lot of bike for the money as long as it doesn’t break down. I’m not too worried about it since I have 4 years of warranty and additional warranty for up to 80000km / 10 years as long as I service it at my official dealer (which I’m doing).

I’m very happy with mine. Only 4500km down but zero issues so far.
