    The sprocket looks fine. The oscillating movement seems to come from the sprocket carrier.

    Measured exactly the same on both sides. If the axle isn't aligned I'm sure there wouldn't be an oscillating movement instead it would just run crooked.

    What could be the reason for an oscillating rear sprocket? It looks like the sprocket carrier is oscillating. The sprocket is flat and I already mounted new damper rubbers. Rotating the sprocket carrier made no difference, also. What else should I check? YouTube short clip Thanks in advance

    Sure the step from a 401 seems to be bigger and I would also prefer new. Of course if you could find a 701 in good condition it will be cheaper compared to a new 801 until their price will drop.

    I don't think so. I believe that are just the mounting brackets. If it would be adjustable with the given size and adjust space, there won't be a recognizable difference in wind shadow for the driver. Besides that the design (fitment with headlight) would not benefit from an adjustment, also.

    I'm curious about the market response. If I want a Vitpilen, I would not buy a Svartpilen. Besides that I'm out because of the fact that it will be the 790 engine combined with the expected "high" price tag. Therefore I keep enjoying my Vitpilen 701 until a real Vitpilen 901 will be released...

    Very good eye catch from you. I really love the low tank line of the X-Pilen design. This would be more like a Duke or mainly all over motorcycles out there. I like to sit on top and not in a motorcycle maybe because of my time growing up with motocross.
