I'd suggest checking for loose electrical connections in all the areas you can reach since you said it occurred right after you went over a bump at high speeds. Start with the battery and go from there...

I also went riding for some Sunday morning coffee followed by a Bloody Mary. Early rides are great for less traffic and to beat the summer heat. Your riding locations look far more appealing than my Americana venues, though!

Are you riding in areas where you need more ground clearance? I've scraped a tall curb on my 2020 that I wanted to see if I could clear, and that's really it. Other hard pack trails/gravel roads are about all I ride when I go off road, and I'm not going over logs or hard-core trails. So...

My dog Hootie got tired of waiting for a sidecar, so he's trying to figure out how to work the controls on his own now... ;)

Are you giving up riding altogether after that accident or just not interested in another Husqvarna? Glad you're okay, and had good safety gear!

Thank you for posting this! Just ordered. Couldn't find any Euro5 ones for a decent price last time I checked a few months ago. Right now I just want to be able to hook up to my OBD2 scanner that I use for cars in case I need to check or clear any codes. But would be useful down the road...

Well, I think we've seen a good example of when someone already has their mind made up, you can't convince them otherwise. There's no point in getting a bike that you won't be happy with if there is a major aspect that you don't like. So, perhaps there are larger cafe racer style bikes that...

I'm 6'2" 200 lbs, 34" inseam. Here's me riding my 2020 Svart 401. It's not a big bike, but I'm comfortable on it, which is more important to me than how others think I look on it. But I don't think I look like a circus bear on a toy bike, though!

I switched to it the other day, and throttle and performance seem identical between modes on my 401 Svart. It just turns off ABS on the rear, which I confirmed with a light skid in a parking lot just testing it out.

Per GPS, my 401 Svartpilen has seen 103 mph. I'm 6'2", 200 lbs, and wearing an XL touring jacket. I'm not the most aerodynamic component for top speed... LOL I was happy to see it over 100, so backed off after that. Might've been able to squeeze a little more, but I didn't want to keep...
