Same here. K&N and FuelX. I have no idea if the K&N helps or not but the FuelX helps a bunch.

Agree! I ride in the city at low revs everyday.

It’s not a jerky bike like some of the Japanese bikes, it feels good right out of the box. But good isn’t great, that’s the difference a fuel dongle gives you. + I had issues with the bike stalling, sometimes when driving which is really dangerous.

To sum it up, it has bad fuel/air mixture at low revs and you can’t ride it properly on lower revs.

Enjoy your new suspension! One thing usually needs to another. The pulsating feel on the brakes really bother me.

I test drove a 990R last weekend and that suspension is a lot better than on the 801. The brakes and the suspension are the only things I’d like to upgrade on my 801.

It’s not a charming feature, it’s bad fuel mixture. It’s like running a carb bike with badly tuned carburetor.

After installing the FuelxPro+ (Coober should give similar results) I can ride 30km/h in second gear with zero issues. I couldn’t do that before the installation. The bike also died on me riding low revs a few times and that problem is also gone. The bike definitely runs smoother than before.

Here in Sweden they sell both the 105hp and the L version. I wouldn’t be interested in getting the L version. 10 hp difference is quite a lot and that’s not taking the torque into account.

I believe the 2024 has quickshifter from start while you have to pay extra for it on the 2025 and 2026 models, if I recall correctly. Other than that, the bikes are identical. Note that there is a L version with only 95hp which can’t be upgraded to the full 105hp. It’s two different motors.

The only issue I’ve had after 8500km is a breaker in the clutch handle that died. I didn’t even know about it, the service center found it and replaced it under warranty. It made the bike not start unless in neutral which apparently was an issue.

I had the big Monster model as a service bike last year. Didn’t like it, it’s tiny, made for tiny Italians.

Agree! I’m running the same tires and it’s a vast improvement.

They will most likely save the 1390 engine for KTM. A 901 Svart/Vit could be a possibility but they already decided on using the 801 engine instead so I don’t think it’s gonna happen. A 1001 with the 990 engine would be cool.
