Exactly my thoughts; with a relocated dash, it might fit the Vitpilen quite nicely...
At the BMW the angle of the flyscreen is not as flat as the Kiska-flyscreen, but it could be adjusted with some custom made brackets.
With a Vitpilen I would give it a try.

The Vit headlight looks like a circle from the head-on view but once you are looking down on it you can see it is quite an oval. Something made for a circle isn't going to fit very well, there would be large gaps on the sides.

I wonder if the Vitpilen headlight will be an aftermarket part that could be swapped onto the Svartpilen? Is the bracket the same?

Someone already swapped the headlight the other way round; from a Vitpilen headlight to a (401) Svartpilen headlight; since it was plug and play (as he reported), I assume the Vitpilen headlight should also work with the Svartpilen plug and play.

In principle, you're right; but it depends on the circle radius and since it's just a fraction of the circle, it doesn't need to be that bad; here's a simple sketch.

How much mileage have you guys clocked up so far?

Any one with a decent amount on the ODO yet?

I have the bike a year and have not passed 3000kms yet.....
I’ve had the bike for 6 weeks—1770 km or 1100 miles. This is the most miles I’ve managed to crunch in a short period of time. I really love this bike.

Michelin Road 6
How do you like the Michelin Road 6? I’m planning on swapping next year when the next service comes up. Did you swap right away? If. It, how many miles did the Pirelli last for? Thanks.

Some dealers still have some of these parts in stock; last week I got the heated grips; and the dealer still had some more sets in stock.
Tom, do you notice the heated grips to be slippery compared to the stock grips? I’ve had to use the cramp buster to keep my grip from slipping. It’s really annoying. I’m still waiting for my cruise control unit here in the US. Once that’s in, I imagine I can get rid of the cramp buster.

To be honest, since the last service when the dealer installed the heated grips, I've only done the 15 km ride home; and on the very short ride I didn't notice any problem.

I’ve noticed mine are a lot more slippery than the normal grips. I might go to a cycle gear store and try some different gloves too see if there are better gloves for the heated grips

I got different gloves, too, but it hasn’t helped much. I need to find different ones. Let me know what you find and it if helps you. The crampbuster is working well for me so far. I’m sure the cruise control (once installed) will help me when I ride on the highway.

If that guy is willing to sell the Vit headlight, I'll gladly get it from him. I want to swap it so badly.

My Pirelli rear tyre is done after 5400 km. Going with Dunlop Mutants next.

Damn that looks good without the wind shield! Looks like an old modern Ducati Monster.

I swapped to the MR 6 and I like them a lot!
