I tried to install the side luggage rack today. What a fucking disaster. The rubber bungs where the bolts go just disintegrated (both of them) and I was left with rubber shanks stuck inside the threads. 2 hours later with tweezers and kebab skewers I finally get the remains of them out.

Cluster fuck.

Anyone know where those black shouldered bushings go? No instructions with it.

Between the upper surface of rack and underside of bike itself? So as to have the rack stood off the frame so to speak?

You'll find the instructions online / part number 00010000439

Those rubber bungs are a disaster. Especially the ones on the exhaust side. When you take them out they will be in no condition to ever go back in. They come out in pieces.

Sorry about the trouble you had with the plugs!
Now it's too late, but next time, don't try to pull them out; screw them out instead like a screw!
First it was a bit fiddly; but finaly it worked fine; it took me less than a minute to get it out; it's still in perfect shape and I plugged it in again.

I definitely would replace the silver radiator fairings.

Same here. Sadly the Vut 801 covers won’t fit without replacing the inner mount so I have painted mine black with plasti dip while I’m waiting for an alternative. I have the forged carbon heal guards on order.

A few pictures from today. +4*c here.

About 4500 - 5000km doesn't seem to be unusual.
I'm now at about 2300km and there's still something left.
Maybe I will give the Dunlop Mutant a try.

I like the look of these tires, the 401 tires and the Mutans but I’m riding 100% on good tarmac so I think the Michelin road 6 will be better tires for me. I’ve read some great reviews about the 6’s.

Honestly I have only been on Michelin sport and Michelin road for the last 15 years. I used to ride sports up front and road on the back for a somewhat even wear. Nowadays it seems the road 6 works equally good up front and rear so…

I'm still a big fan of the Bridgestone S21; they don't last very long; but on good tarmac they perform perfect.
The Mutant seems to be a very good allround tire that works quite well on good and bad tarmac; and also in the wet and with lower temperatures.

Hello everyone.....It seems to be the same familiar faces posting here frequently.

Just wanted to check in and ask you all how you are finding the bike so far? Likes/dislikes? Things you miss compared to other bikes you owned or things you think this bike lacks?

I have only done 1500kms on mine, but this should increase as summer comes.

I use my car to get to work (Toyota GR Yaris) so the bike is more for days off and short trips although I do intend on doing some touring on it around the Canary Islands.

I am enjoying it so far. But I havnt really done anything special on it. Im 40, but a novice rider to be fair. Im a hooligan in my car but quiet on the bike.

When im on the bike I am taking in the scenery and listening to music in my AirPods.

I do think it is a beautiful bike to look at. Husqvarna's are pretty. And people always stop and look at it and ask me questions about it.

I intend on getting the akrapovic exhaust at some stage too....

Hope you are all having fun anyway..

My only concern so far is how this bike ages....reliability etc. I read a lot of things about camshafts and china/ktm etc.

But fingers crossed.
