Is it for noise? Does it cause a flow restriction? I fear that deleting the chamber and the cat will make the exhaust too loud. Not sure which one I should go with.

Neither. I'm keeping the stock silencer. Just want to free up some flow without a substantial noise increase.

Everyone I know that has one on a 401 has only good stuff to say.
If you plan to keep cat, the works chamber delete is cool, changes performance and noise a little.

With the air filter upgrade the CD with an ECU in a 401 has been reported as being not only awesome, but totally awesome...dude.

Hi all, I've done the chamber delete on my 22 svart and it makes a noticeable tone difference to the exhaust and perhaps gives a slight power enhancement but very minimal if any, more likely that I like the sound when the throttle is open so riding harder. I'll try and post the before and after videos for the sound

A lot louder or a little?
This is the after video, I don't rev it too much and it is louder under load. Its a good sound without being annoying on longer rides
