I think even flat bars would hit the tank sides on full lock, I doubt if the bars can go much lower than where they are now without risking some hand control interference.Clip ons are not going to happen with that tank surround. The best that can probably be done is a flat rise bar.

Pic from husky website show standard Vit bars are pretty close.

Still think they would hit the tank on full lock unless you set them at the same height as the standard bars, then you would just have bars further forward.Something like this may work. I put one on a Honda CB300R.

Years ago I thought I wanted lower bars on my Hornet 600, it already had low Renthals and the hand controls were already really close to hitting the tank on full lock. I fitted Gilles adjustable clip ons at a ridiculous cost at the time. I got the bars lower but much further forward, too far forward in fact. The different in body position and weight change thereafter meant I would get really nasty tank slappers at anything over 60mph, actually dangerous tank slappers. I considered a steering damper and then common sense made me go back to the Renthals low bars, normal service was resumed.
My point being you can lower the bars on the new Vitpilen but probably at the expense of comfort and possibly control.
I like the slightly lower bars over the Svartpilens but I believe with that tank clip ons will never work, ever.
UtahWhere in the US are you?
I just measured and it’s about 12mm on my bike at full lockView attachment 6017
I reckon that’s around 7mm of clearance between the handlebar cluster and the tank.
