Svartpilen 801 soon to be a reality.

360-285=75
1 crank revolution is 360 degrees.

Many parallel twins use a 270degree crank for the purpose of emulating a 90 degree vtwin.

In the states kym sportbike line of parts are a nightmare to get if you need critical parts. The dirt bike side of things is entirely different where there's an abundance of parts available.

The square display for a retro style bike and the very large muffler are both turn offs for me. Muffler I can change but the display I can't.

The display is hidden behind the wind screen.

It's not small and round like the retro 401. They are simply taking ques from the KTM sportbikes square display. Also the windscreen is a new edition for it to come stock. I'd rather it be aftermarket so I can choose to use it or not instead of it being forced on stock which influences the price. I do like how they no longer equip the mud guard stock. Id rather that be aftermarket so it's not influencing the price also.

1: Size wise I was talking about the exhaust.
2: The display on the 401 sucks.
3: You can remove the windscreen, it’s around €100 in carbon, so not much money to be saved there.

1. Yea didn't notice you've changed the exhaust. It looks like a sportbike now instead of a modern retro.
2. The 401 display really sucks but KTM could have modernized it instead of doing a swap from the KTM line. For instance the Trident 660 has a decent round display to match the rest of the round themed headlight like the 401.
3. That's money that can still be put towards something else instead of it just being wasted since you know it's not going to have any resale value. Anytime I mod I have to consider that I'm taking a loss from items that simply have no market to sell unless your a dealership.
