Confusing. Perhaps it’s different for different markets? Here in Sweden, there usually “free tech pack” included during promotions.
 
In the US it’s about a $1400 premium to the duke so hopefully some of it’s included. You would think if it was not there would have to be an asterisk or disclaimer on the paragraph talking about wheelie control

Husky marketing department is a little strange. The bikes often show of accessories that are not included, like mirrors, the headlamp protector and this carbon flyscreen.

A little strange that it has aluminum side panels but I guess it’s possible to just rip them off?
 
I think the reason the side panels bother me so much is because they should like up with the stripe on the tank but don’t and look like an afterthought.

We have already seen the prototype. I’m guessing different skid plate, lower (not clipon) bars, other tires and a different paint job. That’s it. Kinda pointless.
 
Yeah, if the paint is something other than all black that will be a positive tho... I will probably wait on the svart in hope of the vitpilen, just because those are all changes I would want to make. It would be nice to buy it with real street tires and lower bars which would save some cost.

That’s fair. I like it like this except for some details so I’m not waiting for the Vit. My plan is to use plastidip to black out the side panels and the windscreen. I like black. Then I’ll probably swap the tires for the model used on the 401 when the time comes. Need to do something about the tank “801 paint” as well.
 
I’ll hopefully test drive the 801 next week. Anything in particular you’d like me to ask Husqvarna or take photos of?

Are they already available in you market?
Production here starts week 22, this is a prototype bike part of the Husky tour. IF they have one.
