Ride Pictures!

One more trip up and down the hills around Valpolicella and Lessinia, north eastern Italy. Today the weather was cloudy, tempersture between 3 and 10 Celsius.

In these days I am suffering from back pain and I also have a blocked and sore right knee, but the Norden remains a light, easy and not physically demanding bike. On these narrow streets at low speed it is nice to enjoy the views, the scents of the forest and the timid rays of sun through the trees.996CF765-6228-4066-A43A-95C52D58495C.jpeg.

Maiden voyage (albeit a short one) of the 701 Enduro… its a blast!! Its been raining a ton for the past two weeks, but I was able to find a 1 hour window last Sunday. The 701 engine is fantastic!! If the roads were better here I would have gotten Vit or Svart 701, but the Enduro (or Supermoto) makes more sense for me.

Finally had my first proper ride on the 701 E yesterday. I had so much fun with the bike, there's always torque with this engine, quickshifter is awesome and the increased in seat height (vs. the Svart) wasn't an issue . I was concerned that I would not have as much fun with the 701 on the twisties as I did with the Svart 401, but that was not the case. Two things I miss from the 401 are: 1. the extra info on the gauge cluster: RPM's, fuel gauge and gear indicator and 2. Space under the sit to store a small tool's kit. None are dealbreaker and I already ordered a rear rack to store tools, wallet, etc. Regarding the gear indicator, I didn't miss it after the first 5 minutes.

Only two pictures this time, we were having too much fun (this was the first sunny weekend in almost two months):

One more ride through the Dolomites…. Other pikes, other roads, the same beatiful view! 527 kmeters, 26 km/liter of fuel. Here in Italy gasoline will priced at 2,3 euro/liter, a bit more then a full tank for my ride.
