I'm so jealous right now, as it's hovering just above freezing right now. By the time the bike gets warmed up, my hands are too cold to ride anymore!

It was 46F when I went out for a ride this morning - 55F by the time I got back. But that's about the coldest it get's here in Monterey Bay - and bright sunshine made for some nice riding.

If it's +45F and sunny I can go for quite a while with my winter riding gloves and cheap USB hand grip warmers. Keeping my fingertips warm has been a challenge on colder days. So I ordered some handguards as that should help keep the air blast from hitting my gloves.

Today was a very fun day. I went for a ride this morning with two friends through the basque country and to our surprise there was some snow in Aranzazu.
We even did some off road...

I hadn't gotten out much the last couple months, but today was a really nice ride. Some green here in Socal from our "winter" rains. I actually should have dressed a bit more warmly. It was about 60 deg F (16 deg C).

Nice 200mile run from Hollister down Hwy25 to King City for killer tacos ... wonderful weather, great twisties and some nice 100mph+ straight sections where the little Husky had trouble keeping up with the big boys.

Thats exactly what those big boys be feeling when the buddy with a turbo Busa or a H2 shows up.

When we left at 9am was mid 50's, but got up to mid 60's by the afternoon. Suppose to hit the 70's this week.
