PowerTRONIC just released the FuelX ECU for the 401!

Correct me if im wrong...but if the lite has 1 map that auto adjusts for the condition and modifications made to the bike, doesn't that make the 10 maps the pro has obsolete?
I think what they mean is that it will adjust to maintain the set target fuel-air ratio. They both ( lite and pro) do the same, however the lite has 1 map which is set to a richer mix that stock, while the pro has 9 maps including 2 that are leaner than stock.
What that fail to specify is the actual ratio for each map in both version and and where would the lite map be between the maps on the pro.

I can't testify to numbers, but I installed one of these and since my bike has been running cooler, smoother and makes almost not popping sounds on up or down shifts.
My exhaust is stock with a Werkes slip-on.

Seems to work, I get OBD fail light on but don't think that's the FuelX issue. Took it off because of warranty issue and bike isn't as pleasant to ride

I contacted PowerTRONIC and they said the lite would be equivalent to map 6 on the pro

The fuel ratio ranges for the maps are listed in the user manual

Would you post a picture? I don't have mine.
I don't have one yet so I looked up the manual on the website and that version didn't have the AFR ranges, I am trying to locate where I saw it online before and will post if I find it again. That said, I went ahead and bought a Pro version today as I just installed the Coober cat delete, and don't want to run the risk of leaning the bike out.

Got it. I remember that the manual I got didn't have the ranges. That's why I'm interesting on getting them, just to know.

Curious; I've got a FuelX lite and enjoyed smoother low speed behaviour, less stalling, however issue with the Quick Shifter and misfiring means it requires warranty work, so removed for now. It only connects to the Lambda (O2) sensor, so cannot see how it affects the ECU fuel map? At certain points such as rapid changes in throttle the O2 Sensor is ignored by the main ECU, so how does it change those parts of the factory map please?

What do you mean by misfiring, did your fuel-x faul the plug?

I am no engineer, maybe via long term o2 sensor data the ecu shifts map fueling 🤷‍♂️

Good point about the ECU adjusting long term mapping. Plug's fine, I checked, also tried an NGK Iridium but back to factory-fitted Bosch now; Before first service from new the bike started intermittently and violently misfiring in a jerk-jerk fashion, it was rescued by truck under warranty but UK dealer (Appleyards at Keighley) could find nothing wrong. Returned after being plugged in, ran OK for a while, requested Dealer activate Quick Shifter after it wasn't working after first service. Later had engine OBD display on, the 'Quick Shift Failure'. Both cleared after kill-switch and restart, mailed dealership and Husqvarna UK, awaiting response. Misfires etc all happened before test-fitting the FuelX lite, it is a good product but staying off until other issues resolved, will refit after warranty expires.

Well, when a quickshifter is sensing a shift when your not shifting, it will do a quickshift anyways... and that will feel like its missing.

On after market "universal" quickshifters which need to be setup, its common that when its to sensitive, the vibrations from high revs will trigger the quichshifter when it shouldnt...

Sounds like factory installed sensor is faulty; that would explain intermittent misfire issue, plus Shifter started working perfectly yesterday. After swapping spark plug for an NGK Iridium had lifted the tank, as way easier for access, which disturbs wiring harness. Bet a bad connection or harness plug is cause, will check where Quick Shift cable connects to the Bosch throttle body

I fell down a rabbit hole. Started googling cat delete, then ECU, then found lots of info on the Fuelx and ended up here. :)

I bought my Svart 401 with the Akra exhaust but couldn’t get the db-killer out so a few days ago I swapped it for a LV10. I have ordered the FuelX Lite (from EBay India since original route was insanely expensive) and my plan is to also buy a K&N air filter.

One question though. I’m no engineer but opening the bike up with K&N and LV10 should be a good combo, right? I’ve seen some YouTubers using BOTH the vented air box lid and K&N filter. Wouldn’t that just result in too much air if not using an ECU?

I installed the FuelX Lite and the K&N filter today (LV10 already installed).

I don’t know… at first it felt like always, then after a few minutes at low speed I felt the bike wasn’t so sensitive and jerky. I have never had an issue with stalling or jerkiness before but it felt smoother. Downshifts also felt smoother. Then I started to pressure the bike a little. It felt like the bike was flying when I pushed it. The placebo effect is strong I guess. I have no idea if this these things does anything or not but it sure felt good during the short test ride.

Pretty affordable- 160 for the lite and 180 for the pro

The lite has 1 autotune map
The pro has 10 autotune maps with a handlebar switch to change maps on the fly

I just ordered mine,I will hopefully have a good review once it's here and installed.

Kind of makes sense since the bike only enters closed-loop when the engine is warm, right?

Alright, so here's the deal.

If you can get better sucked air then the engine may take in a bit more. The fuelx which can says "Hey, I can get more air quick and because I do that, I'm gonna to increase the spark and gas too. This makes me faster".

BUT then it discards the exhaust to the stock header which kind of crappy then it hits the stock cat converter which looks like a giant crappy maze. Creates pressure then down the pipe until it hits the crappy chamber weird looking kidney thing which slows it down yet again. then PUFFS out the slip on cone muffler.

The FUELX says "I have to reduce all that air I can get and knock down the spark. I wanna to make more power but there is nowhere to push the exhaust".

So the fuelx adjusts to your upgrades and If you upgrade all of it the fuelx will compensate and work better. It will also adjust to your throttle style and how you ride to a point.
BUT the problem is it probably will get deathly loud if you change the entire exhaust. A lot of people will go back to using the stock muffler on everything else upgraded because it's quiet.

Oh, they don't talk.... pretty sure you knew that though.
