If I had a spare airbox I might have given that a try. The good thing is that I haven't had to make any permanent changes and it could all go back to stock in a couple of hours.

I am not sure if I am a fan of the huge hole in the center of the bike.

As I havent had the airbox out myself, maybe you can answer this for me - Isnt it possible to fit a cone filter inside the original airbox, or maybe one of those ramair foam ones?

Here you go --> stage 1 kit from pirate racing. There fits an cone filter inside the airbox with modification to the airbox.

@DWB maybe you could ask for a custom PCV map (cone filter wise) there also.

The Stage 1 kit from Pirate seems to run great- they show all the results in their videos, but you have to remove and send your airbox to them in Germany to get it completed, so that's a big deal.

I have a pending dyno tune at 2WDW in WA but just as yet haven't been able to get up there to get it done. I'm good with what I have now, until then, but appreciate the advise.
