New Bike, now all I need is a Plaid Shirt.

The one for Vitpilen seems to look exactly the same, as the Duke one Linked by @Vatte , because they are basically the same bike.

The duke one is easier to get because they made more than they made Vitpilens... maybe only the number is different...

Oh yeah, I wasnt sure if 10,000 miles is enough to justify changing the original iridium plugs so the new set is still on the shelf.

Tuning or maintenance regarding the valve shims? Also brake pads were down to be changed already? What is PDL?

10000 miles.

All four had tightened slightly to tight end of spec, so I put them up the the loosest end of the spec.

The pads still look pretty new from the thickness, some situations I felt like they were only medium good 🙈

PDL -> is a Chain Lube

With 15/40 and 114 chain there wouldn’t be many threads left for adjustment. For that reason I went with a 112 chain.
If choosing the 15/42 ratio the standard length chain (114 links) should be fine.
As much as I know, Husqvarna OEM 520 spare part chain has always 118 links and needs to be shortened to fit the chosen sprocket ratio.
I tried and found out that there is no chance to have less than 114 links with 15/42 ratio. Except maybe with narrower nuts on the chain tensioner bolt.

Will change the antifreeze as the stuff inside should be about 4 years old now, so when I do I will put Samco hoses on while the coolant is empty.

I had them before, personal preference. (Edit: its like K&N filter, if you like it you use it 🤷‍♀️)

For the coolant I picked G30 as it should be what came inside originally from the factory.

On to my second one, as the first after market one lasted roughly 12k miles before being replaced free of charge.

This time I will install a different brand and probably keep the other new one(s) as spare.

The list price is like 2x as much as the other ones, so good thing it kinda looks and feels like its more better too.
