I tried and found out that there is no chance to have less than 114 links with 15/42 ratio. Except maybe with narrower nuts on the chain tensioner bolt. With 15/40 and 114 chain there wouldn’t be many threads left for adjustment. For that reason I went with a 112 chain.
If choosing the 15/42 ratio the standard length chain (114 links) should be fine.
As much as I know, Husqvarna OEM 520 spare part chain has always 118 links and needs to be shortened to fit the chosen sprocket ratio.
Does this mean you never have to clean the filter?
Now using C2+So, a few miles later...
Scratch the PDL, using C5 lube again.
What happened with your Sigutech slave cylinder? On to my second one, as the first after market one lasted roughly 12k miles before being replaced free of charge.
This time I will install a different brand and probably keep the other new one(s) as spare.
The list price is like 2x as much as the other ones, so good thing it kinda looks and feels like its more better too.
