ok, maybe i will make a misture of solution, use of metal shield with thermal adhesive ...just to prevent, i am not really sure about what may causes the shock issue...better prevent than cure, anyway, it wont be something hurmfull for the bike

I have received the heat shield for the ktm 790 and this is not fully compatible with our bikes, need to do some ajustments

The heat shield from the link is listed to fit the Adventure 790/890 and Norden; it will most likely not fit plug & play; the Duke 790/801 frame, swingarm and shock mounting points are different.
