I'm Carl, the founder of HQVadventure.
I've loved forums since I first found one, back in the old days of the Internet.
They are great because they store the knowledge that the members post, allowing new members to learn from the veteran posters.
I thought the internet needed a great new forum for Husqvarna adventure and road riders. I asked around, and some people agreed with me... so here it is!
I hope you like it!

Please introduce yourself here... or just start posting if your prefer.

Thanks Neem! Your bike looks awesome!
We are just getting started here... please consider making a couple posts to help us get rolling.

That looks great manix! Can you give us a report on that exhaust in the 701 section? Is it really loud?
Translation via google: Ça a l'air génial manix! Pouvez-vous nous donner un rapport sur cet échappement dans la section 701? Est-ce vraiment bruyant?

Hello. Bought a 2018 Vitpilen 701 demo bike with 1100km about a year ago, got 20000km on the clock now. Because it was a demo, Ithink if it had any issues they were sorted before I got it, except for the instruments which were replaced under warranty without any problems.

Hello all, thought I'd say hello now I got my avatar to work. Bought my Svartpilen 401 new 13 months ago.
Done plenty of mods to it, and I absolutely love it! I have only done about 1500 miles so far, but then I only really use the bike to commute to work and the entire journey is only about 12 miles there and back, and I don't ride if it's raining or going to rain or has just rained. Plus I have another bike too, so my mileage gets spread about a bit. I also pillion on the back of hubby's bikes a fair bit.
here's a couple of pics:

This is how it looks now.

Welcome Vanessa! What mirrors are those? Are they from a KTM? And how does that windscreen work... can you tell any difference with it on?

The mirrors are KTM Duke 390 mirrors. They are cheap and 1 million times better than the stock awful round mirrors that the bike would normally come with.
The Duke 390 mirrors are just great, very little vibration, easy to adjust, look cool and suit the bike (IMHO) and I can see behind me easily.

I don't know if the windscreen works a lot, as I had it fitted before I picked the bike up. But I love the looks and I always fit flyscreens to all my bikes as I believe they do help with wind flow a little. But it's still a naked bike of course.

Great to have you Max! Maybe you can give us a short comparison between the Indian and Husky in a new thread!

Hello all, it’s nice to have a forum for these awesome bikes! I just got my motorcycle endorsement (license) a few weeks ago after passing the MSF course and got myself a 2020 Svartpilen 401. I did research for months prior to decide on my first bike and it came down to the Honda CB300R, Ducati Scrambler Sixty2 and the Svarti. After seeing and sitting on them all, the 401 just felt and looked right. I’ve only been riding it for about 2 weeks and it’s a blast!

I've had my Vitpilen 401 for about 16 months as my first motorcycle. I haven't ridden much this year, first staying off the road as if I had an accident I didn't want to be in a Covid filled hospital to now not having anywhere to ride to. A to A rides just arent as fun.

I think this is the only picture I have of the bike in it's current form
