Hitting the Pipe Catalogue

@max thanks for the pictures. Would be nice to see what the cylinder removed looks like. I assume the honeycomb is in there?

I really don't care about gaining a couple HP. I want it to sound and ride a specific way. I have a 200+HP race bike to go fast on.

This bike is just so damn cool and I have a visión for it that I hope I can execute.

There was yes. Ideally you want to replace the pipe section that contains the honeycomb element with a straight pipe, and stick it back in. It's a press fit with the perforated part. And weld it shut again.

I see the same part number (76636010444) for the following models:
HUSQVARNA 701 ENDURO
HUSQVARNA 701 SUPERMOTO
HUSQVARNA SVARTPILEN 701
HUSQVARNA VITPILEN 701
KTM 690 Duke Orange
KTM 690 Duke White
KTM 690 Enduro R
KTM 690 SMC-R

From what I understand, there was a different one initially for early Dukes (16-...) and the the new one replaces that.

Going back to my initial statement, maybe running an under belly exhaust doesnt need a different cam... or maybe it does...

Either way it would save way more weight than a replacement cat pipe and muffler.
