There was yes. Ideally you want to replace the pipe section that contains the honeycomb element with a straight pipe, and stick it back in. It's a press fit with the perforated part. And weld it shut again.@max thanks for the pictures. Would be nice to see what the cylinder removed looks like. I assume the honeycomb is in there?
