I would definitely be interested to buy a baseplate from you if you plan to make more of them. I don’t have the tools to make anything near that good myself.
Still needs an arm to be mounted to, or the plate will be directly above the rear wheel.I would remote the stock rear fender and install one of these carbon fiber fender eliminators thats also a plate flipper all in one. Have a look at: 007Plate.com
I've had it on 3 or 4 of my bikes now and it's awesome.
Looks nice and it's easy to install too. Just one center bolt mounts the gadget to the motorcycle, and just connect 2 wires to the battery.
PS it actually usually takes longer to remove the stock rear fender than it takes to install it this thing
