There is very little actual data that I've seen regarding what a Powertronic/Coober ECU is doing other than 'making it better'. These are only piggyback units, correct? If the Powertronic ECU does not intercept the O2 sensor signal I don't see how it can modify closed loop operation. Does that mean that to fix the closed loop lean condition one needs a Fuelx and then for open loop corrections you need the Powertronic? Or is there something going on with the Powertronic that it lies about another signal to take care of closed loop?
thanks
