Anyone seen any 2021 news yet?

I should clarify - I don’t mean to be denigrating anyone’s bike :) maybe ‘run-out special’ is a better way of putting it. Sweetening the deal to clear the last of the production by throwing in parts they probably wouldn’t sell. The 20s has the wire wheels, the alloy pegs, the replacement exhaust hanger and pillion seat cover. That’s almost a couple of grands worth of parts at retail, and the bikes were ultimately selling for 6999 here in the U.K., when the bikes were originally launched at almost £9000.

There’s no question that the Vitpilen 701 has been a bit of a sales disaster, but as Max says, that may mean the small number sold become classics in years to come...
Wishful thinking maybe 🤣

They fixed the 401 Vit section. If that's true about the 701s I could foresee them becoming desirable. They weren't really on my radar when I was shopping because it was out of price range for my first bike and the 701 Vit that my dealer had had the black 5 spoke alloys instead of the wire wheels (not sure how that happened because it was definitely a 2020 MY). I really didn't care for that look, but getting a good look at both 2020 701s with wire wheels they're great looking bikes. If the plan is to eventually replace them with 901s then the classic value may hinge on whether or not they change the look for the 901s so that those last run 701s have some exclusivity. From a production cost standpoint switching to 901s makes sense if the Norden 901 is still part of the plan which I have to assume it is.

What ever way you look at it, we have something rather rare, unique, different, and special, IMO.
New Zealand got only 5 of the 2020 701 Vitpilen, Not sure how many of the model years 2018/2019, but as I have never seen one on the roads, assume not very many.
If the stories of no more production are correct, I am happy I have bought my one, happy with my choice, and will enjoy.

Discuss. The sign in the background doesn't have any apparent relevance that I can see, but maybe someone can enlighten me or provide their own theory. Kesklinn seems to be a district within the capitol of Estonia so no idea there. Either way at least news is starting to trickle in about what I can only assume are new road bikes.

I predict it’ll be an expensive re-skin of the 890 adventure, will be priced way too high initially with significant reductions 12-18 months after it releases then further reductions in the following off season, before KTM give up the ghost with Husky other than the Indian made sub-500cc models and some e-scooters :)

Having said that, the Norden looks 100% better than the KTM adventure so if it’s priced right and the 890 stays reliable it could be a winner :)

We live in hope, I have a Honda Africa Twin, and could see myself on a lighter 900 size before I'm much older, the Norden as show is a nice looking package in my eyes.

Is the countdown now gone for anyone else? I took a screenshot of it just this morning and when I went to Husky's website just a few minutes ago to check the timer that page was gone entirely.

Okay good I thought Husqvarna was gaslighting me for a second. I swear not even 10 hours ago I took a screenshot of the timer and posted it in another thread. Wonder what they're up to.

Actually, now that I think about it, they've probably just broken their website again. Not like it's the first time for that. The landing page is a bit different so someone was probably tinkering around and forgot to add that bit back.
