Hey guys!
I've been away from the forum lately, but I'm still riding (and learning)!
I watch a video the other day on safety equipment which stated that statistically most motorcycle injuries are foot/leg injuries. As far as safety equipment I'm well covered, and most importantly I always use it. I have a great Bell Helmet, Klim and Revit mesh jackets with armor, riding jeans with armor, gloves and TCX boots. However I started thinking that wearing higher adventure boots for my weekend rides, which take me far from home, could be a good idea. Just wondering if anyone else does this (pro's and con's).
So far I've been looking at the following:
https://www.revzilla.com/dirt-bike/oneal-sierra-wp-pro-boots
https://www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/tcx-drifter-wp-boots
https://www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/forma-adventure-boots?rrec=true
Might be an overkill, but if it will keep me safer, I don't care. My weekend rides are just that, I don't stop to do errands or go to nice restaurants.
If the aforementioned boots are too cumbersome, anyone knows if wearing something like this would offer more protection than my TCX X-Blend boots?

Thanks!
