I been lurking for a while but here’s my first post! Bought my first bike ever a month ago or so and today I did my first adaptation, bar end mirrors from Fenrir, let’s see if the quality is any good. I took it for a short ride but it seems like there weren’t any vibration, at least not more then the stock ones.

Thanks for a nice forum and plenty of inspiration!

My first bike aswell,on my way to the license. Picked it up last saturday and today was the first ride.

Great fun! After 2,5 hours with a small brake in the middle the seat my butt started to complain a bit.
Anyone tried the original and ergo seat, any real difference? And is it any difference between the +20mm ergoseat and the standard ergoseat? Is it anymore cushioning or is it just a booster seat for you tall guys ;)

Im thinking of using my bike for 60km commutes to work....so 120km per day.

Average 16 work days per month.

All motorway. Rarely rains (Canary Islands).

Thoughts on this?

Will I run the bike into the ground?

So it'll be about 23.000km a year just for commuting plus fun-km; that's indeed quite a lot; and up to now nobody of us knows if the camshaft problem still is a problem or if they solved it.
On the other hand side, you could be our test pilot; in about a year we will all know if the problem still exists...
OK go for it! (y)😁

Ok, I'm at 4300 km and the tires look alright so far.

I'm considering the mutants instead of the Michelin once it's time to change.

I'll swap for Road 6's - I'm currently at 4400 (miles) and there's still tread left so holding off for a bit.

I had S22's on my Duke 790, then Rosso Corsa IIs - both good tyres, but not as hard wearing as Michelin Road 6s.

I could have used my original tires longer but they started to show wear and it was time for engine service. It was getting closer to the need to swap the rear tire so…

I changed mine @7000km, now rocking Pirelli Angel II, good feelings overall after another 7000km.

I have just reached 17,000 km in one year. I did about half in the city and the other half while traveling. For the moment I have no mechanical problems. Let's hope it continues like this 🤞

I'm now at about 4600km; and one or two 300km daytrips should still be possible; then the rear is done.
From what I've read, about 5000km seems to be quite normal with the MT 60 RS.
