2020 SP 701 ABS

Nobody lists the svart/vit.

I would guess that 690 one works, it's the exact same bike and the ecu is even the same part number.

Unless they flash it with software that says "duke, no duking"

Without a socket to plug it into, I wouldn’t know what to do with it... which dongle works on the Vitpilen 701?
It plugs into the diagnostics plug I think.
There is nothing available specific for the Vitpilen 701, but a 690 plug might work.

I tried a dongle on the Vit 701, here are the results:

Maybe not available under the first 1000 km's? Not that I'm capable of doing wheelies.. but like to know how it works anyway 🤣
It's available. it's just hard to press and sometimes just doesn't work. If it doesn't deactivate drive a couple hundred feet then try again.

On my 701 Vit: hold down the unmarked button, the dash will say: 'keep button pressed' , after a few seconds the dash will say: 'release button' . You then obviously release the button and the tc light comes on. Tc is deactivated.
As BISavage says, the bike needs roll a few meters after being switched on before this procedure will work.

When you switch the bike on, the abs and tc light will illuminate. After a few meters of riding those lights will switch off.
After this happens you can press the button to switch of the tc.

Funny how Husqvarna chose to not allow turning off ABS on the one they chose to put 50/50 tires on? I guess I should have read and not assume that they were the same bike with different aesthetics.

They essentially are. And I bet most people even husky dealers . Don't know about this. I'm assuming they stuck it in last minute because of some legal hoopla with the tires or something.

I doubt that the tires would be the reason. The Svart 401 tires are similarly rated.
I could be wrong but it is my understanding that the Vitpilen 2020 is still capable of turning off ABS.
If that is the case I would argue that if there is one of the two that doesn't need to switch off ABS it would be the one that is designed exclusively for road use.
