I didn’t bother with the official repair kit, instead, I got some hydraulic seals that were the correct size. They are still going strong. A tenth of the price of the official kit too .

The light is just a tight push fit. I used a thin tool to get between the front clear lens and the rear cover, slowly going around the edge until it started parting. it isn't glued together.
I was there in the 90’s a couple of times with a CBR600, everything was a bit more wild then and fun !
Definitely somewhere that every serious biker should visit at least once, definitely no other place like it.
Possibly a broken wire in the wiring loom around the headstock, or loose connection in the same area. You are close, just keep moving the cables about to get you in the rough area, then its down to using a multimeter to check each cable.
The front clear lens of the headlight needs to be carefully removed. Gently prise it off using a screwdriver, you will then need to strip the light down to access the 4 x LED’s that light the ring up. I put some yellow plastic between the LED’s and the plastic rings.
Has your slave cylinder been changed or upgraded ?
There is also a possibility that with the high heat, any moisture in the clutch fluid could have been boiling. Same as if you had air in the system ! That maybe BS
The usual symptoms of the master cylinder seal failing is the leaver not...

So far the new seal is working with no problems at all.
I have just picked up the Madura seal kit and thought I would measure the new seal against the old one. The old seal has swelled to increase the diameter of the seal by approximately 2mm. For a small seal it is quite a lot.
