Husqvarna Cast Wheels (Husky factory accessory)

Mmm, did you put in your old wheel dampeners? The rubber sprocket dampeners? I.E. part #16 When you order (you may as well get new unless your old ones are real good) 90210059100 …they are very cheap (like $3 or $4 I think). I’m pretty sure that’s what you’re describing…I am not sure what...

    Oil change options

Motul 7100 4T Synthetic Motor Oil Oil Type: 10W50 I have 2021, manual also says 15w50. I would say it depends if you live in hot climate. I use 10 because it’s pretty standard for easy starting. I don’t wanna start an “oil thread” argument but I’ve done lots of research and I concluded...

    401 starting problem

If battery is below voltage it’s not good idea to “charge” it by riding the bike. Hard on the electronics and it will take a loooong time to get back to 12.8-12.9v Best to remove from bike and charge it with a proper charger. Keep in mind. You check this ‘resting’ voltage after the battery...

    401 starting problem

If that is your problem. Check your voltage first. I for one upgraded my India battery with all my starting problems. But it was not the issue, but whatever, I now have a trusty Yuasa battery so I’m okay with that. Yuasa AGM YT-12A-BS if you want. Better than the 9-BS or whatever it is

    401 starting problem

Good luck lol. I had a faulty rear shock due to it leaking fluid. Estimated time for “warranty replacement” was undetermined. No stock in North America with no estimate for delivery. The shop rebuilt the shock with KTB high end stuff and they submitted the whole bill to KTM/Husqvarna. Shock...

    401 starting problem

Battery below a resting 12.8v (I believe) is considered a dead battery. Charging required.

    401 starting problem

My bike had this similar issue. I had it on a 5000km road trip. Always stopped the bike on a hill for an entire day lol (so I could pop the clutch). Got back to the hotel that night and looked it over. I honestly can’t remember if my bike did that clicking. Anyway, my issue was those bolts...

    Oscillating rear sprocket

You sure the sprocket carrier is pushed all the way on and the rubbers cushions are all on all the way? All the spacers are in? The sprockets i completely flat and mounted properly...I mean if yes, to all that, then it gotta be the sprocket. There's not much going on there. Bearings in the...

    Replacement Battery

Not sure if it's actually 200 CCA...but my 2021 401 battery was pretty damn flakey. Yuasa is always the best option imo. Best value for money. Pretty sure it would fit. I got this one https://www.yuasabatteries.com/battery/yt12a-bs/ R

Husqvarna Cast Wheels (Husky factory accessory)

Haha, I would say even if you find a shop the labour and charge to you may be too high. But I dunno. They have to - remove tires - remove tubes - install new style valve stem (maybe one u buy) cause with no tube you need a valve stem (no idea on the size — maybe 11 mm — that’s what the Husky...

Husqvarna Cast Wheels (Husky factory accessory)

Husqvarna Cast Wheels (Husky factory accessory)

I have read on other forums that the bead is not the same on tubed vs tubeless. Not sure the diff, it's said the safety bead is not on a tubed wheel. Whether it's a good idea or not, I dunno. Up to you. I didn't want the hassle of all that, so I just opted for the cast wheel set. R

Husqvarna Cast Wheels (Husky factory accessory)

Well, I have no complaints so far. They've been good. I haven't smashed into any big pot holes or anything but they're holding up and I balanced them myself and the cast wheels have no vibes at all up to about 158km/hr. I don't go this fast usually...but New Brunswick has got some pretty...

Husqvarna Cast Wheels (Husky factory accessory)

Hey @Seattle401 ...yup, cast wheels are always tubeless. I mean if you wanted (in an emergency) I'm pretty sure you could put a tube in there. Plus, Michelin advises that "Road 6" are not compatible with 'tubes'. Although, I believe some have used tubes anyway...but reading about this sounds...

Can somebody confirm there is no red Loctite on the rear turn signal assembly bolts from the factory?

The dealer told you there should be Loctite? Not the case. The service manual doesn’t even call for it as seen by (1), when Loctite is required it’s listed, as seen by the speed sensor screw (2). Just saying. On with the original topic :)

Can somebody confirm there is no red Loctite on the rear turn signal assembly bolts from the factory?

Those turn signal screws do have Loctite on them from the factory. However, I thought it was blue. And it’s not liquid form like you and I use at home, it’s the epoxy impregnated Loctite. So it sticks like glue to the bolts and makes it super difficult to remove. I put a luggage carrier back...

Turn Signals for Svartpilen Outside of North America?? -- They look so much cleaner and not droopy lol

Yup. I agree. Out of all the places they responded to my emails. Some didn't even bother (even though they said they ship worldwide). And DHL (at least for me) is always very good...others may differ. I feel their fees are usually pretty okay and you're right shipping wasn't too bad. I...

Turn Signals for Svartpilen Outside of North America?? -- They look so much cleaner and not droopy lol

Well, they're not that expensive from KTM/Husky either so you could just order from the dealer. I have both KTM/Husky version and Puig. I can't determine which is better or will last longer. I feel like KTM one may have more rubber in the formula. You should be good with either though...

Turn Signals for Svartpilen Outside of North America?? -- They look so much cleaner and not droopy lol

Cool man, glad it helped someone. Btw, prolly nothing you did with the odometer mounting issue. I can tell you that from the factory my Svart had issues with those mounts for the odometer. I experienced this early on because I have the Puig windscreen for the Svart 401. I think the factory...

Turn Signals for Svartpilen Outside of North America?? -- They look so much cleaner and not droopy lol

Hey, just FYI, if you haven't ordered yet, GreenlandMX actually has a deal now which can actually be applied to OEM parts (usually promo codes don't work for this). https://www.greenlandmx.com/int/en/husqvarna_right__turn_signal/28114026000.html, there's one of the lights. Plug the other...
