I don't have pics, but I can say the screens were clear this time. The oil definitely had the shimmer of metal in it but much finer than the first round. I think these engines are just machined close and they let the rings do the final machining. I'm at 1200 miles now. I won't do it again...
This is 100% normal for these bikes. I've only ever had yamaha's and almost puked when I did my first oil change. I'm not saying it is ok, just that it is normal :)
I did my first change at 500 miles and will do my second at 1200 miles this weekend.
Everything works, I went for a long ride and tested everything. I do have signals, look closer. motogadget bar end signals up front and pins in the back.
'themis tiger country' threw me...
I can 100% confirm the bike runs fine and everything operates as normal without the instrument cluster. The bike also looks a LOT better and really enhances the 'riding over the front wheel' sensation without that big blob there.
Was that a drunk reply?
I'll let you know in a bit, I would like to remove that eyesore and replace it with a motogadget gauge. Also, I would like to remove the ABS as well - you just pulled it out and ran new brake lines?
If I wanted to do that I would find the brake disc part number and check which years that brake disc fits, the mounting points for the cast wheel is different. You can probably find this on the Galfer website.
Perfect shape, only used for 100 miles. Unmodified wiring harness, programming cable, bypass plug & ECU. DNA stage 2 air filter included.
