Yes I know, if you care about correct sag setup then it should adjusted when you carrying passenger. This is super easy with hydrolic preload, but I wouldn't bother without it because it's a PITA to adjust preload without it.

I've got coober installed on my RC390 race bike with a high mount werkers exhaust which delete cat and pre-muffler (resonator) and it runs fine for me, the bike feels really good. I'm sure I'm one of the fastest on the straight line thanks to coober

When you buy Nitron the dealer should set you up with the correct spring rate, I know Nitron 800lbs spring rate is for 75-80kg rider without gear. pretty sure the rear shock for 2020 are interchangeable with earlier model 401 and RC/Duke 390 since the length of the shock are all the same...

how much do you weight? you should just get a Nitron R1 or R2 and be done with it. It's worth the money if you're into spirited riding, increase handling = increase safety. It's also a really easy to swap in and out (15mins) and resale value for aftermarket shock is really good, you'll get...

you can use 2nd hand 2017+ KTM Duke/RC 390 header or RTAMO Titanium version from ebay I use RTAMO and even thou it's chinese I can vouch for the quality something I would expect from expensive brand names, fitment was perfect

yes it goes above the mounting ring, I didn't expect that and felt odd at first but now I'm used it.

it maybe its just reliability issue, just like how the RC390 Cup track only bike uses 415 Chains but those chains are really not recommended for the the bike because they can break, so 520 is much safer for the road.

the 46t just wasn't available at the time and vendor suggested to go 14/43 was also changing the chain at the same time so it was ok.

Another thing to note is that this also increase the display height by about 35-40mm. It's very effective when you're in a tucked in racing position, before the windscreen I can feel the force of the wind on my helmet pressing against my face and that is now gone with the windscreen.
