    801 Slip-on / exhaust list

From only the length I would expect a shift from top end to mid range, maybe like 1 or 2 horsies. (Personally have only tested 790 with original pipe 🙉🙉🙉)

Looks good. Noticeable shift in power band?

    801 Slip-on / exhaust list

It looks like IXiL decided to add a hole in the center of the mesh to allow for emisions testing. And good that the mount is screw on, make it easier for you to fab up an upgraded one 😎

    Air Filter 701

After having tested the DNA, BMC, K&N, MWR, and paper, figured its only to test the French one too; here's how it looks straight outta the box:

    Svart 401 chain

For the 401 I prefered either the original steel sprockets, or JT sprockets with aluminum rear for lighter weight. And used either the DID VX3 chain which was good or the RK MXU for lighter weight.

    More Rubbers (please)

So, the Racetec needed exactly 800miles before the front was illegal; rear had around 3mm remaining. Took the SM2 out and they are pretty good, kinda wasnt 100% satisfied with the pressure I ran. Will see next time if I can get it right.

I use a tire assembly tool, I think there is a post on here somewhere.

New Bike, now all I need is a Plaid Shirt.

Did another oil change, and decided to replace my paper air filter I had in since last autumn with a brand new K&N. The difference from paper to new K&N is far from subtle... K&N upgraded from their old stop sign shaped sticker, so now it fits on my airbox lid:

    Rocker Arm too Soft?

Fixed it today and found out just how poorly my engine was running with the chewed up parts; very poorly.

You noticed the gold chain in the lates pic, or... And no, I dont weight the tires, Michelins are lighter because they use aramid instead of steel belt

    Rocker Arm too Soft?

Yes, intended to just check the valves, the clearance on all 4 was good when the whole guage was inside. Only noticed the one valve felt wierd when just the tip of the guage was in... so I took the exhaust side apart to look and found the middle of the shim worn down.

Stylish 🙈🙈🙈 As for handling performance its hard to tell as the tires make up alot of the weight, and the Metzlers are agile as f...

    leaky engine

The output shaft seal is also a possibility, clutch slave gasket, screw block off for oil cooler... all kinds of stuff there... Does it have a chain oiler?

Vitpilen 401 - Any cheaper tire alternatives you've found?

I had the Pilot Power 2ct on my svartpilen, as well as the Pilot Street Radial, both worked just fine.

    Rocker Arm too Soft?

Somewhere between 18k and 19k miles. Edit: just used some magnification to look on the shim I took out 5k miles ago from that valve and evidence is already present, albeit not obvious.

    Rocker Arm too Soft?

Yea, the cam surface shows nor scarring, and the part of the rocker which touches the cam is also "like new". Rocker looks to run about 150 to 200 bucks.

    Rocker Arm too Soft?

The other side of the rocker is still black and the cam looks good. Would suggest only the rocker and the shims need to get exchanged.
