The CAN-Bus adapter cable arrived yesterday. Display shows 2000rpm (four digits) Car Scanner app says 1650rpm - all ok.

Couldn’t get a connection to the ECU. It looks that my Chinese KTM adapter cable is the old K-Line version. I ordered a new one that should support the CAN-Bus.

The lucky Vit owners got radial Magura HC1 brake and clutch pump. The poor Svart owners got a Magura clutch and a Brembo brake pump.

The idle is constantly @ 2000 rpm cold and warm. I think this is on the high side even for a such powerful one cylinder engine. I expected that once the engine has reached the operating temperature the idle speed would drop a little. This is not the case and it seems that the cold start...

I would still bet on the timing chain tensioner. Take it out, take it apart, clean it, check the o-ring and put it back in. I’m not familiar with any way to check the timing chain tension.

A hole in centre shouldn’t matter. I will try my luck with a 3/4” rubber seal for waterpipes. The outer diameter is 25mm.

Don‘t they leak because there is no seal inside the cap? If you swap the seal from the original to the new cap it should work.
