    Next mod for the Svart...

Definitely looks like they are a separate part, no idea how they attach. Might need to split the airbox to unfasten them, it isn't very clear at all.

    Next mod for the Svart...

I'll take a look tomorrow morning and get some photos.

    Next mod for the Svart...

Ooh interesting, as it all came out in one section I assumed it was a single part. Might be clipped on some how. I'll take a look at my airbox and see.

As Vatte says, they aren't separate panels, that's the actual airbox molding.

    Vit 701 steering damper...

Refreshingly honest appraisal. It is too easy to get committed to any mods you do yourself.

    Harness Repair

Eek, how many miles you done? Think I should check mine at the weekend.

    Svart front wheel swap?

I know of at least one guy who has been caught out when ordering a front disc for his Vit, even the Husqvarna dealer picked the wrong one.

    Svart front wheel swap?

If you currently have cast wheels you will need new discs/abs rings and possibly spacers. If you have wire wheels already everything is the same and you only need the front wheel.

    Vitpilen 701 Replacement Battery

They are way lighter, feels like an empty plastic box when you pick it up. They can be charged with a normal charger (I think there is one setting to avoid on normal chargers but can't remember the name) that said, mine hasn't needed charging in over a year. Cranks harder than the stock...

    Vitpilen 701 Replacement Battery

I am using a Noco Lithium battery, not as small as the Antigravity option but light, very very well made and fits perfectly. Been using it for a year, came charged, zero maintenance and starts immediately no matter how long it has been sat.

    Advice following decat installation

EU4 dongle is good. Not heard of anyone using an EU5 dongle on Vit/Svart. O2 sensor controller seems to be a step up from a dongle, those who have them like them. Dynojet PCV or a ECU reflash would be best option. As for the airbox lid removal, do it. Seems to work with all the above with...

    Badwinners Performance Kit

Worth downloading some of the free ones from the Dynojet site, see how they compare to whatever BW sends you.

    Next mod for the Svart...

Swapped the shrouds today, really surprised at the size difference (a bonus is that the Vit items are probably half the weight) went on easy and look better than I had hoped. Clears the crash bars a lot better now.

    Next mod for the Svart...

Decided to swap the radiator shrouds for Vit ones. The originals are a bit fussy for my liking and foul the Duke crash bars slightly. The Vit option is cleaner and a little more narrow, win/win while looking stock-ish.

Badwinners Dash - Anybody Who Preordered has Received?

I would have definitely ordered a dash before now, but the almost universal stories of poor customer service have kept the cash in my pocket.

    Snorkel delete

Absolutely. Despite all the mods I have done to mine I would be surprised if I have gained even 2bhp at max power, it is mostly about filling the holes in the power range caused by emission and noise regs. Which Husqvarna have made very easy to do. Just a fuel dongle, airbox lid delete and...

    Snorkel delete

I'm sure it does the job, but not convinced it will be any better than the $20 Rottweiler or Smart Moto versions that definitely do work well after you upgrade to a PCV.

    Snorkel delete

Yup, O2 eliminator dongle. The PCV can't do much on its own in the rev range the dongle works in.
