Congrats! You won’t regret it! I made the same switch (almost).

New model. Boring. No spoked wheels, nothing interesting.

Here in Sweden they sell both the 105hp and the L version. I wouldn’t be interested in getting the L version. 10 hp difference is quite a lot and that’s not taking the torque into account.

I believe the 2024 has quickshifter from start while you have to pay extra for it on the 2025 and 2026 models, if I recall correctly. Other than that, the bikes are identical. Note that there is a L version with only 95hp which can’t be upgraded to the full 105hp. It’s two different motors.

The only issue I’ve had after 8500km is a breaker in the clutch handle that died. I didn’t even know about it, the service center found it and replaced it under warranty. It made the bike not start unless in neutral which apparently was an issue.

I had the big Monster model as a service bike last year. Didn’t like it, it’s tiny, made for tiny Italians.

Gothenburg, Sweden Today’s service bike. Both my wife and son said “ugly as hell”. 😆

Agree! I’m running the same tires and it’s a vast improvement.

They will most likely save the 1390 engine for KTM. A 901 Svart/Vit could be a possibility but they already decided on using the 801 engine instead so I don’t think it’s gonna happen. A 1001 with the 990 engine would be cool.

Test Ride Reviews from dealers meet this weekend Hypermotard (The big one) Quite short, not as tall as I expected. Fun engine, good suspension, stable bike. It didn't give me that "must-have" feeling, though. Streetfighter V2S Suspension was too soft, but the engine is fun. Decent length, but...

I swapped from the stock tires to Michelin road 6. It was a vast improvement, made the bike more flickable.

    Suspension upgrade

Probably depends on how the stock setup is. I previously owned a Triumph Thruxton and the stock rear shocks were really bad. Even a cheap upgrade improved the experience dramatically.

I like my Shoei GT air 2 since I always ride with music on.

    Close throttle error

For me, dynamic is convenient, I don’t have to turn off TC and ABS to wheelie. That’s all, I usually ride in dynamic with sport throttle response.

    Exhaust

The Pro+ has a better map than the older models. I put the setting in 7 (out of 9) and removed the remote.

    Exhaust

But the Coober is still not a complete ECU right? So still equivalent to the FuelX Pro+ (but uses 3 sensors instead of the 2 on the FuelX). Meaning, if you want to decat, use the Coober. If no decat, FuelX is fine.
