Thanks for starting this thread. I like the MT60 RS, but less than 3k miles from a pair is unacceptable! I read one reviewer that reckons there was no discernible wear on his Mutants after 6k miles and thinks 10k should be achievable. Think I'll give them a go too.

Thank you myers64. I bought the plastic Ebay ones. When I emptied them out of the small packet I thought 'I seriously spent £20 on those?!' After fitting (slightly fiddly as they are a very tight fit) I test rode and have to say they have really improved throttle control. Much less jerkiness...
