Service costs

How much are people paying for servicing? I had a major service at a Main Dealer (SE England) last year that cost £636.
I thought that was a lot, but swallowed it given it was a major service.
12 months on they have said my 'interim' service will be £350. For an oil and filter change?!
I've only done a 1k miles. I think I will skip this one...

Just buy the oil service kit and the right oil for this bike and do it yourself. Much cheaper. The part number for the service kit is 75038046110 (around €60). As for the oil, you could use the recommended Motorex POWER SYNT 4T SAE 10W/50 MA2(1.7l).

Don't even bother with the service kit, all you need is the two oil filters and a few copper washers.
The filters are 75038046100 and 58038005100, the screens can be cleaned, and the o-rings can be reused several times.

I'll give it a go. I do my own servicing in older bikes so hopefully this won't be difficult.
