I have only tried Kev’s dongle, and am very pleased with it. I believe top speed is about 5% lower with 15T. Check out gearingcommander.com for detailed info on speed/rpms with custom gearing.
15T lowers the speed compared to same rpm with 16T, so it helps with low speed driveability. However, have you installed some sort of fuel dongle? I actually went back to 16T after having installed Kevxtx’s fuel mod. Could ride at between 500-1000 rpm lower without issues with that and no longer...
I had similar issues with mine. Almost impossible to stay on line in corners without decelerating, and running wide as soon as giving some gas. Plus had to turn the front adjusters almost all the way in to deal with massive break dive.
Nitron/Andreani/Hyperpro would cost me a fortune due to...
Seems that the Duke 390 has the same fork spring length as the Vit 701 (345 mm), but 8.0 N/mm instead of 6.0 for the Vit. Also aftermarket 9.0 N/mm available. I haven't been able to find out if the diameter is the same though. Has anyone tried or ruled out Duke 390 springs for the Vit?
Not a lot...
Did you have to modify the Svartpilen spring in anyway? Also have a Duke R 2017 shock and looking for a stiffer spring. Seems to me that the Duke R spring has a 61mm diameter whereas the Svartpilen spring is 59mm.
Now with a sound comparison as well!
Neither my GoPro's internal mics or the iOS dB app can be considered especially exact, but can at least give an idea of the differences.
If anyone is yet to perform this operation and is hesitant on how to do and where to drill, here's a few images and description. I could have drilled a couple of mm up and towards the back, but this was close enough to reach the bolt :)
Put on some masking tape and started out with a 3mm drill...
Hi all! Got a good deal on an Akrapovic slip-on and am planning on making the DB killer removable by drilling a hole in the carbon. Remember having seen a tutorial at vitpilenforum.com with instructions/measurements on where to drill to get the hole aligned with the screw underneath, but that...
Are you using the SC Project in combination with a de-cat? Or is it still very loud with the cat on?
Interested in buying the CR-T and keeping the cat, but don't want to wake up the neighborhood. Don't mind changing back to stock exhaust for MOT, but Swedish tracks have a limit of 95 db and...
