    Tire changes...

So yeah, I went with this machine "kit", primarily for two reasons: 1. The guy on the phone was helpful, 2. The additional parts for the 401's 15mm axles were provided free of charge.

    Tire changes...

I put 20g on the back and 30g on the front... I probably needed 22.5 in the back and 27.5 on the front...

    Tire changes...

I put on a fresh set of 2CTs with the manual machine today, wow is that easy. Balancing was a bit hard, 5g is the smallest weight size I got, and with those China red bearings on the balancer tool, if a fly lands on the tire it turns...

    Track Vits?

They make screw extraction kits which are available for like 10 bucks or less, like mine: It works well for a couple uses, just use the drill ones (Dr#.) to make the right shape for the extractor ones (Ex#.) to bite

    701 faults and durability

There is a sensor for the quick shifter on the clutch cover, if they opened the cover or fooled with the sensor, its possible the sensor is moved in position. Probably need to recalibrate it with a diagnostics tool.

    Track Vits?

Very interesting, that you mention hill climb without. I know that on my bike, it is opposite as I expect, the top speed is less and low end torque is higher, probably exactly what you want for hill climb.

    Track Vits?

Now I am interested, in the video of the hill climb event, did use db killer, or is that the sound without db Killer? ...and do you experience power loss without it?

    Track Vits?

I know I dont drive a big bike like y'all, but when I take out my killer I lose almost 20km/h top speed... just to point out that loud doesnt necessarily mean speed or power...

    Track Vits?

Judging from the sound in the video @FaNaTic posted (23:10), I would estimate that he runs it with the db-killer still inside. On these speakers it sounds like it makes a very good noise 😀 ...And a db-killer is also visible in the in post #15 of this thread.

    Fender Eliminator 401

Looks very similar to the comp werkes ones I installed on previous bikes... A typical mounting point is the screws for the rear peg brackets, and on the 401 there are no upper peg mounts, the passenger pegs are mounted to the front pegs. If your determined to have it there, is it not more cost...

Magura clutch MC bleed valve leak

I know there are brembo ones, but I dont think they run on the same fluid, so a compatible slave cylinder is required...

🤮 As much as I would like to provide constructive feedback, are there even upgrades available?

    Which de-cat?

I think the remus looks the coolest, and has an optional cat available if the smell is important to you: But other than the akro full pipe, with a decat you will gain somewhere and lose somewhere else, and its really up to the tuning to keep the bike in check. Probably the weight loss /...
