Haha, that bike is for track only. So if I get caught with that one on the road then I’ll have other issues to answer.
In other words, if it doesn't make too much noise they don't care. I ride with the stock cat and the baffle removed from my Akra (on both my bikes actually). Quite a bit louder than stock, but not overly so.In most of the USA, emissions checks are mostly only random and visual.
If an official notices an after-market non OEM exhaust end-pipe (& they heard excessive Loudness), then a citation could take place.
Did is not come with a sticker attached? This is what the carbon fiber Shark SRC-4 looks like.

Nice.I removed it easily
I’ll see if I can find what looks like inside, that may help you. I should have some pictures somewhere.Next I'm going to hollow out the cat. I have shop that splits it in half, removes the cat and welds it back together.
That looks really well designed.
Why use race gas in a bike like this? For some reason I have it in my head that the "original" reason for removing the cat was so that you dont f- it up using race fuel on a race tune at the race track; because cats are expensive.
With pump gas, why?
No, less weight more power.. don't know anybody who puts real race fuel in a hobby race bike..For some reason I have it in my head that the "original" reason for removing the cat was so that you dont f- it up using race fuel on a race tune at the race track; because cats are expensive.

Gains vs $$ are marginal for street use.How come nobody pops in a new cam
My bad, on the 701 list price is 250 Bucks including delivery and Tax... and before rebate(s).New camshaft for 180 bucks???
