I haven't ridden the mt07 myself, but power wise they are equal to the 701. They are a bit (16kgNice! That is a MT-07? Been thinking about getting one... any information on how it compares performance wise with the 701?
I haven't ridden the mt07 myself, but power wise they are equal to the 701. They are a bit (16kg) heavier though, and the stock suspension is very low quality.
It looks a bit cheap up close as well.
But that engine is supposed to be an absolute peach.
I would love a little sportsbike with that engine.
75hp is enough for me on the roads if the bike weighs <170kg wet.
If I ever win a lottery I might just get Nico Bakker to build me a lightweight chassis for the mt07 engine and just go all out with decent suspension, lightweight wheels etc.
Thanks! I've heard similar from other people.... great engine but the rest of the bike is not on par. 701 still at the top of the list for me, at least until I see the Triumph Trident of the 2021 Monsters.
401 isnt big enough, or what?
Replacement for displacement: (top of my list)
efi single nozzle piranha system (35-50-75hp ) with 10lb bottle
the nx efi single nozzle piranha nitrous system is the #1 choice for cramped engine compartments. from the highest flowing solenoids, to the patented piranha nozzle, this system screams nothing but quality. includes jetting for 35, 50 & 75 hp but is capable of 150 hp with additional jetting...www.nitrousexpress.com

I want MOAR BRAAAAP!!!
Aesthetic issue... I like how the 701 looks better than the 401. Honestly the power is enough for the riding I do. And the Triumph Trident is also a beautiful bike.
You SoCal boys need to stick together....Here's a snippet from today's ride, went out for a solo adventure and just happened to bump into Max Kool. Very fun riding with other Husky's!
