Hi, and welcome to the Forum @HappyAl. I think all of the exhaust options have been covered previously on the forum. From spendy to not so. Depends if you want something road legal or not. I know you can get away with most options in the UK. Personally I have the Akra, but i´m sure most will say there own choice is best. Happy riding

@HappyAl a welcome from me as well.
Because of the exhaust; check this thread; you'll find a lot of options there.
Most exhaust that will fit a KTM Duke 790/890 or CFmoto 800NK can be adapted to the 801.
 
Next to the optional Akrapovic and Remus, you can also check LeoVince, Arrow and GRmoto.

I'm also in the Uk and use a Black Widow slip on. It's listed under the Duke 790 on their website but it is relatively cheap and can be fitted without any modifications. I have a YouTube video you can check, just type in Svartpilen 801 + black widow.

Congrats on the new bike. Very big upgrade on the 401!!
