801 owners club

I wish that Husqvarna would have made the Svartpilen and Vitpilen with the small TFT screen that is on the KTM 390 enduro personally I like the small screen look I wonder if you could swap them.

I quite like the minimal, smaller screen too. Still anything is better the abomination on the 701 and 1st/2nd Gen 401s!!

Maybe of interest to one or the other; from "T-Rex racing" some new parts that will fit the 801 are available.

Guys, out of curiosity: There are some mentions in the manual to DTL (daytime lights), but I'm 99% sure you can't just turn off the low beam. Has any of you found a way to do this?

I believe for legal reasons the low beam must be always on, unless there's a way to try your hand at the software I don't think so.
Pretty sure doing so would tamper with the warranty.
Not 100% sure, just my two cents

I thought you could just go with some daytime lights, at least here in Europe. Many bikes allow you to turn off the low beam, but you still have a ring, cross or whatever with the daytime lights. I'm not sure about legislation either, but still was curious since it would look nice riding just with the outer ring during the day.

Hi, I have Husqvarna Svartpilen 801 2024 (ODO 9000 KM)

*I use Puig frame sliders for Husqvarna Svartpilen 801 2024 and its work perfectly, I used also for GoPro holder to take shot for front tire and suspensions.

*I use heat shield for rear suspension (same part with 790 Duke/790 Adv) and guard for radiator. My rear suspension was oil drained, after change rear suspension from my service in guarantee I take heat shield.

*The exhaust catalytic converter is very close to the rear suspension, heating it up and burning the seals, causing the rear suspension to leak oil.

*I use Quadlock phone holder for mirror parts, its fit perfectly for small area on handlebar.

*Dynamic Mode is activated at my bike.

If you have any question or advice to me go ahead...

242 Max folks ?

Lovely ! These ballads on the countryside are where i enjoy my 801 the most, not speeding just cruising and enjoying the landscape... I could do this all day everyday ! ^^

Must agree; but some heavy "speeding" (in between; where it's possible; and at least to me) is always also part of the fun... ;)

Great Afternoon Ride Today !
The crew is getting bigger... ^^

Though i lost the rear two times and the feeling was kinda tricky on re-accell and slippy roads... Maybe a little underpressure or it's me pushing too much... Hence thinking about changing the rear for Michelin Road 6, any feedback with it combined with a stock front ? ( Before changing both ) Thanks !

Spoked wheels/rims for the 801 look absolutely stunning. Has anyone tried to find hub assemblies for spoked wheels that would fit this bike?
I don't know if they will fit without any modifications or spacers, but I would take a closer look at some Norden 901 / Adventure 890 hubs.

@801FAN , the Pilot road 6 is quite a hard tyre. I had a little slide yesterday from the rear on a dry road ( we´ve had very dirty rain ´Calima´ here in Andalusia ) I will try the Metzeler Sportec 01 RS in the future.

Interesting, thanks for the feedback Dhd12 ! Fact is i am really really happy with the Metzeler on my 401 ! it seems better and sportier on dry road, but not on the wet...
I usually don't drive under rain but got caught in it yesterday...

I asked Grok what he thinks about it :
